 Demonstrates sewing machines and their operation to retail store customers: Sohws customers recommended procedures for cutting material from patterns, assembly and basting, and machine sewing. Explains and demonstrates use of various attachments, such as hemmer, edge stitcher, and ruffler.

May instruct customers in altertaion of garments.
